Visste alla att televisionen (enligt vissa historiker) i dag fyller 75 år? Grattis!

Paul Schatzkin skriver så här:

"Our goal is simple: come September 7, 2002, we want everybody who turns on a television set to know that date is the anniversary of the day the medium arrived on this planet - and to know the name of the man who delivered it."

Mannens namn är alltså Philo T. Farnsworth (fast endel anser att det egentligen var John Logie Baird). Enligt AP kommer jubileet inte att uppmärksammas, åtminstone inte i amerikansk TV.

Undar om den unge Philo skulle ha uppfunnit apparaten, om han vetat hurudana program man ser på idag?
